  10. IMPORTANT NOTE: VIDEOBASE V1.0 REQUIRES THE VISUAL BASIC RUNTIME
  11. MODULE VBRUN200.DLL WHICH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE DISTRIBUTION
  12. PACKAGE. THIS MODULE CAN BE EASILY OBTAINED FROM MOST BBS'S AND
  13. ONLINE SERVICES.

  15. Installation from a floppy.
  16. ---------------------------

  18. For example, suppose your distribution diskette is in drive A. From 
  19. PROGRAM MANAGER | FILE | RUN. Type: A:\SETUP.EXE. You can accept the
  20. default destination path or choose a new one if you so desire. SETUP
  21. will create a PROGRAM MANAGER group for VideoBASE and all of the
  22. required icons. To start VideoBASE, simply double click on it's icon.

  24. Installation from another directory.

  27. If you have downloaded the shareware version of VideoBASE from a
  28. BBS or online service, the following installation procedure is
  29. required. 
  30.  
  31. 1. Assume that VBASE100.ZIP is in the directory of C:\DLOADS
  32. 2. Change to the C:\DLOADS directory
  33. 3. PKUNZIP VBASE110.ZIP
  34. 4. From Program Manager
  35.         - FILE | RUN
  36.         - C:\DLOADS\SETUP.EXE
  37. Again, a Program Manager group and icons will be automatically created.

  40. Since this is the first version, it is most likely not perfect. While
  41. many error were caught during BETA test, there is always something that
  42. slips through the cracks. Please report any bugs you find as per the
  43. online help section on support. Compuserve 75270,3163 will get the
  44. quickest response.

  46. I welcome all your comments GOOD or BAD and look forward to suggestions
  47. on how I may improve and enhance VideoBASE. Is there a feature that 
  48. VideoBASE does NOT do, that you just can't live without? Let me hear
  49. about it.

  51. I'll close by reminding you that VideoBASE is not free. If you continue
  52. to use it past the 30 evalutation period, you must register it. This 
  53. will not only bring you extra benefits (see online help), but, it will
  54. allow me to keep improving the software and create new windows software
  55. for your enjoyment. This software is NOT crippled in any way. It is
  56. fully functional. The only reminder that you will see is in the opening
  57. shareware notice dialog, and in the ABOUT dialog. That's it! No nagging
  58. screens popping up every 10 seconds. I've tried those types of programs
  59. myself and needless to say, I didn't register many.

  62. evalutate it, look under HELP | PRINT ORDER FORM.
